The basic principle behind pad printing technology is that the flexible rubber silicone pad picks up the image from the ink-flooded etched cliché and then transfers it to the component requiring printing.
1st step- Flood the metal surface of the plate through the forward movement of the ink container.
2nd Step-Move the ink container and attached blade backward, leaving ink in the etched areas.
3rd Step - Lower the pad onto the plate to pick up the impression of the etched image.
4th Step - Move the pad forward and downward onto the component, transferring the image.
Choosing the right pad printer can be challenging when there are many options available. If you are clear with the process design and requirement details, then of course the selection becomes easy.
